Anytime anyone sneezes, coughs, laughs loud, burps, or makes any other loud bodily noise, Brenna is quick to reply:
She's really talking alot these days and although this video isn't the clearest, it at least demonstrates all the new words she loves to say!
And last but not least, here's a recent video from playgroup:

February 2010
We're almost at the end of February and Brenna's personality is shining right now! Her vocabulary has quadrupled this month and she says "please" and "thank you" like she actually knows what they mean. It's so cute.
Here are some favorite pics from over the past month.
In this one, we went to the beach and after digging in the sand, it was straight to the mud sink. She loved getting her bath in a new place!
Storytime with Jim has become one of her favorite activities. Jim comes over and you'd think he would be kind of intimidating considering he's like 6'5" but she loves him. She lets him carry her around the house and LOVES when he reads to her. The Monster at the End of this Book is one of her favorites courtesy of Jim. We all try and read this one with such enthusiasm that I have a 3/day limit for the integrity of the performance..lol.
She also loves when we measure her on the growth chart. We go into her room and she stands against it and looks at us like "Measure me...did I grow?"
February 11th marked the 1 year anniversary of the best playgroup a mom and tot could ask for. We celebrated at our house and had an awesome turnout.
From top, going clockwise, Antoinette/Trey, Amy/Jalyn, Kendall/Ella Kate, Jenn/Brenna, Brooke/Maren, Ashlee/Maddy, Emily/Aidan, Sonya/RyRy, Amanda/Audrey, Aimee/Mason, and Keri/Marina (Missing are Angela/Cristian and Lauren/Carley)
Love these Mamas and their tots!
Here's a pic from one year ago. From the top going clockwise: RyRy, Audrey, EllaKate, Mason, Brenna, Marina, Maren and another baby that I can't remember the name of (she didn't stick around).
Here's a shot of the parents chowing down.

It's a new year!
A lot of fun and exciting things have happened so far in January. For starters, Brenna started preschool 2 days a week so that I can work without distraction those 2 days. I work part-time from home for a company that I love (http://www.bigcouchmedia.com/) and I'm very lucky to have been able to work during naps and at nightime while she was sleeping prior to now but things have picked up and it's good for everyone that she go to school for a few hours a week. It was very hard on both of us at first. I stood outside the room the first 3 days crying while I listened to her cry but the place is wonderful and she's already starting to get more and more used to it and she's only been for a few weeks.
Here she is all ready to go on her first day!
I've also noticed that her vocabulary has really improved A LOT this month. She can say (although not very clearly): dada, mama, bless you, thank you, please (she has only said this once but it counts), ball, car, dog, cat, goat, brush, fish, shoes, cup, duck, choo choo, baff (for bath), hi, bye, and of course NO. She can also identify a lot things in her words book and on her body.
One funny thing that happened recently was she woke herself up coughing one night and all the sudden in the monitor, we heard her say "bless you, bless you, bless you" and then she went back to sleep.
She has a gazillion teeth. Really, I swear a new one pops through everyday. Right now, I think she has every one of her top teeth and all but 3 on the bottom.
She loves to play outside and here are a few pictures to prove it...
Our playgroup is still going strong and I swear these ladies keep me sane and happy! We need to stage a group photo shoot soon because I don't have any recent ones to share. Maybe next update...

It's been 3 months....
So it's been 3 months since my last post. I know, I know...I should have provided an update sooner but I have a good excuse. We were back and forth from Florida to Atlanta for pretty much all of November and December. Then there were the holidays. Then there was the recovery from the holidays. Now I finally have my act somewhat together again. Here's the update for November and December.
November in Atlanta was beautiful. The weather was in the 30's-50's and I actually loved it. It was such a nice change from the 90 degree Florida weather. It was even easier to get into the Christmas spirit with the cooler temperatures. Here's a couple of my favorite pictures from the month. This one is at Nick's soccer game.
This was right around the time that Brenna started walking. She was 14.5 months and what was funny about it was that she pretty much skipped the "wobbly" baby walking stage. All her friends were pretty much walking, and it was just like she was going to wait until she was ABSOLUTELY ready before she started and once she did, she didn't stop. She went from a couple steps to a run in what seemed like only a couple weeks. We were so lucky to capture these first moments at the Lubers house in Atlanta. We had to trick her and have her hold medicine bottles in her hands so she wouldn't try and drop to the floor to crawl. As you'll see in the video, she was rewarded with blueberries :-)
And here's Brenna having fun with her cousin, Nicholas.
This was another one of my favorite pictures of Brenna from November, having fun with her Daddy at the playground.
And here's Molly and Brenna enjoying some table time.
Once we came home from Atlanta, Brenna really missed her pal Molly. We'd look at her picture on the fridge and she'd give her kisses.
We hosted Thanksgiving at our house in Jupiter for the 3rd year in a row. It was lovely but I honestly don't have a single picture. I think I was tired from all the travel.
We were back in Atlanta for 2 more weeks and the good news is that we got to watch the BCS Championship with the Mussons (who are Bama fans). The bad news is that Bama won. Oh well, maybe next year.
Before we left Atlanta, we took some priceless pictures of the girls...
This one below was the cover of our Christmas card for the year. I'm sure you got one. If not, it must have gotten lost in the mail...
We finally made it home in mid December to hurry and get ready for Christmas. I made a few calls and arranged for Santa came to our house on Christmas Eve morning since we were going to my parents on Christmas Eve night and Brett's parents' house for Christmas Day. Here is a picture of Brenna running out to see what Santa had set up for her.
Now it was time for Christmas Eve dinner and gifts at the Blooms.
Wishing Fran a Merry 91st Christmas...
And now for Christmas Day gifts and dinner at the Epsteins...
This is a favorite picture from December. Brenna loves to feed the ducks with Grammy and Grandpa Les.
Finally back at home enjoying all the gifts that everyone gave her.
Santa brought her a potty and she actually loves it. She loves to read books while on the potty and even poopies in the potty!
