So it's been 3 months since my last post. I know, I know...I should have provided an update sooner but I have a good excuse. We were back and forth from Florida to Atlanta for pretty much all of November and December. Then there were the holidays. Then there was the recovery from the holidays. Now I finally have my act somewhat together again. Here's the update for November and December.
November in Atlanta was beautiful. The weather was in the 30's-50's and I actually loved it. It was such a nice change from the 90 degree Florida weather. It was even easier to get into the Christmas spirit with the cooler temperatures. Here's a couple of my favorite pictures from the month. This one is at Nick's soccer game.
This was right around the time that Brenna started walking. She was 14.5 months and what was funny about it was that she pretty much skipped the "wobbly" baby walking stage. All her friends were pretty much walking, and it was just like she was going to wait until she was ABSOLUTELY ready before she started and once she did, she didn't stop. She went from a couple steps to a run in what seemed like only a couple weeks. We were so lucky to capture these first moments at the Lubers house in Atlanta. We had to trick her and have her hold medicine bottles in her hands so she wouldn't try and drop to the floor to crawl. As you'll see in the video, she was rewarded with blueberries :-)
And here's Brenna having fun with her cousin, Nicholas.
This was another one of my favorite pictures of Brenna from November, having fun with her Daddy at the playground.
Once we came home from Atlanta, Brenna really missed her pal Molly. We'd look at her picture on the fridge and she'd give her kisses.
We hosted Thanksgiving at our house in Jupiter for the 3rd year in a row. It was lovely but I honestly don't have a single picture. I think I was tired from all the travel.
We were back in Atlanta for 2 more weeks and the good news is that we got to watch the BCS Championship with the Mussons (who are Bama fans). The bad news is that Bama won. Oh well, maybe next year.
Before we left Atlanta, we took some priceless pictures of the girls...
We finally made it home in mid December to hurry and get ready for Christmas. I made a few calls and arranged for Santa came to our house on Christmas Eve morning since we were going to my parents on Christmas Eve night and Brett's parents' house for Christmas Day. Here is a picture of Brenna running out to see what Santa had set up for her.
